(Jude 1:20) “But, you Beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, ‘PRAYING IN THE HOLY GHOST”.
First of all, the prayer of a righteous man/woman is very powerful. On the other hand, the prayer of the Lukewarm is just simply, ‘lukewarm’. It goes no higher than the ceiling.
(James 5:16) “The effective prayer of a righteous person has great power”.
Demons have no fear of lukewarm, or half-hearted prayers. They have no problems with self-centered, selfish prayers. Those only thinking of themselves have no concern for God’s kingdom, for lost souls, or for righteousness to be established in our land, and nation.
VERY INSTRUCTIVE: DEFEATING EVIL SPIRITS
With such weak prayers, or no prayers at all, nothing stands in the way of the Powers of Darkness making mighty strides of wickedness and destruction in our lives, our family’s, and our nation’s.
THERE IS A MIGHTY TYPE OF PRAYER THAT I WANT TO INTRODUCE YOU TO. PRAYING IN ‘THE HOLY GHOST. (PRAYING IN TONGUES).

Right from the start, I want you to understand that not all tongues are of God, but not all tongues are of the Devil, either, as some would assume.
HERE ARE SOME SAFEGUARDS CONCERNING TONGUES.
(Luke 11:11-13) “If a son shall ask any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask for a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or, if he shall ask for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father ‘GIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THEM THAT ASK HIM’.
If you have genuinely repented of your sins, turned away from them, and have placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, He having died for your sins, and having paid the penalty for them, then, you have met the conditions necessary for receiving the ‘BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT’.
When you receive this Baptism you will speak in tongues, which is the ‘INITIAL PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF THE BAPTISM IN THE SPIRIT.
As you continue to grow in the Lord, Jesus, Christ, and grow in the Spirit, more evidences, and gifts will manifest, which are many.

NOTE: The Scripture above says, “If you ask for the Holy Spirit, He will not give you a counterfeit, or a demon instead.
No He won’t. Just as a father would never give a stone to his son, if he asked for bread, or give him a serpent, when he would ask for an egg, neither would your heavenly Father give you something that you haven’t asked for, or something that would hurt you.
He will never give you something harmful or destructive. He will only give you what you have asked for. I’m sure you get the point.

Is it possible for you to receive a fleshly experience or a wrong spirit if you ask for the Holy Spirit? It is, if these conditions are present.
1..If your motives for receiving the Holy Spirit are self-serving, and self-promoting, you could open the door to the wrong spirit. If you think that by receiving the Holy Spirit people will think you are ‘very important’, extra spiritual, or you yourself think it will give you power and control over people, you could possibly receive a wrong spirit instead of the Holy Spirit.

2..You could receive a wrong spirit if you have not repented of all known sin. Sin, unrepented of, and sin that you don’t want to get rid of is a ‘DOOR-OPENER’ to evil spirits, and is not conducive to receiving the ‘SPIRIT OF GOD’, and ‘HOLY GHOST TONGUES’.
3..Be careful who lays hands on you. When a person lays hands on you, there is an impartation of something that’s in them that flows into you.
Sometimes if the person praying for you has secret sins, and stains, that pollutes and corrupts their soul, what is in them, may be imparted to you when they lay hands on you.
You then may feel, unclean in your soul, and wonder why? It could very well be that something unholy has been imparted unto you, and not the Holy Spirit.
Remember, the Holy Spirit is just that, He’s holy and pure, and will not mix with the impure and unholy.
If something unholy has been imparted to you, and you afterwards feel unclean, or are having lustful, or hateful thoughts, ask God to forgive you, and break that unholy spirit off of you in Jesus name, and make sure you take an opposite stand to what has manifested in your thought life.
Get the pure and holy Word and read it, memorize it, and apply it to your heart and situation.
If you have received a wrong spirit because you had an open door through sin, you need to ‘COMMAND THAT SPIRIT TO LEAVE YOU’, and ask again for the Holy Spirit, and in faith and obedience ‘YOU SHALL RECEIVE’.
Again, let me go over what you’ve just read. If after being prayed for you feel unclean, or stained, uneasy and not at peace, you didn’t get the Holy Spirit, but perhaps an unclean spirit, and if so, you need to command that spirit out in Jesus, name.
4..You could receive another spirit beside the Holy Spirit If you have been deeply involved in some form of the Occult, Witchcraft, or Satanism and not having gotten rid of these occult spirits after you got saved, and before you or someone else prayed that you receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
You may need to go through deliverance to cast all those spirits out lest they pose as ‘The Holy Spirit’. They are great deceivers and often appear as ‘ANGELS OF LIGHT’.

(2 Cor. 11:14) “But I am not surprised, even Satan disguises and transforms himself as an ‘angel of light”. That is how he has deceived so many people, and very often, he has deceived even the Children of God. BEWARE, BE CAREFUL.
(I Jn. 4:1) “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit. but test the spirits to see whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world”….2…This is how you can know the Spirit of God, every spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ come in the flesh belongs to God, and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus Christ come in the flesh does not belong to God.
BEING FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT IS COMMANDED, AND ESSENTIAL.
LISTEN TO VIDEO: SPEAKING IN TONGUES IS ESSENTIAL
(Luke 24:46-49) “Then he said to them, “thus it is written, and thus it is necessary for Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses to these things. Behold I send the promise of My Father upon you, but tarry (wait) in the city of Jerusalem (or where ever you are), ‘UNTIL YOU BE ENDUED WITH POWER FROM ON HIGH’.
That’s talking about being Baptized in the Holy Spirit, with all the power, authority, and the gifts of the Spirit, to use to promote the Kingdom of God. We receive it humbly by faith, and exercise it boldly toward and against the devil and his demons in Jesus Mighty name.

Jesus, here, is referring to the Father’s promise at Pentecost when He would fill 120 believers with the Holy Spirit, which is recorded in Acts 2:1-4.
Here they spoke in Holy Ghost tongues, which were languages of all those who came to Jerusalem for the ‘Feast of Pentecost’, and each one understood the wonderful works of God spoken by those Spirit filled believers.
Interestingly these disciples of Jesus did not understand what they were speaking, but all the people of all the nations that came into Jerusalem did, and rejoiced at what they heard”.

Some mocked the tongues and said “These men are drunk”, but others said, It is early in the day, and good Jews don’t get drunk early in the day, and in fact don’t get drunk at all.
And beside, we heard them telling us about the wonderful works of God. Praise God, wouldn’t you have given almost anything to learn about what was being told them in their particular language as the believers were being Baptized in the Holy Spirit?
Wow! Don’t you think that would have been extremely exciting hearing the wonderful works of God which they were unaware of before?
I can just imagine that some were being filled in about what God was about to do in Jerusalem, and all over the world? Perhaps, some of them had been praying about some lack of understanding about some Old Testament Scripture, and then the Holy Spirit gave them light on that passage, and they praised God for the illumination.
Maybe someone had been praying about how they could be used of God in life, and God who knows all things would speak to them about their calling and encourage them and tell them that they were called and chosen and God would send them forth.
These wonderful things may have been told them in (tongues), which the speaker didn’t understand, but the person hearing, was hearing these awesome words in their own tongue, or language.
I believe many of their questions and prayers were answered in those wonderful works of God being told them. And they were being strengthened in their faith, and being assured that God loved them and was with them.
And perhaps in telling them those things it filled in what lacked in their understanding about Jesus and his sacrifice, resurrection, ascension, the fulfilling of the Great Commission, and His glorious return at the end of the age.
And furthermore hearing these wonderful things strengthened them mightily in the faith. Thus, making clear that which was unclear before. GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST!
Dear Reader, these are the type of things we see happen today when Believers are Spirit-filled and Baptized in the Holy Ghost. It opens a door into the realm of God’s Spirit, and He, our enabler, teacher, comforter, and God, help us to fulfill our calling, which is the growth and promotion of the Kingdom of our God.

POWERFUL EXAMPLES:
Through ‘tongues’, the Holy Spirit does marvelous things. Things that can’t be done through study, getting theological degrees, or through our own ingenuity.
Tongues have many purposes, and more than I can even list.
1…Tongues at times have been used to preach the gospel. In Russia many years ago, evangelist Tommy Hicks, was preaching to the Russian people using a communist interpreter.
At one point where Tommy began to talk about Jesus as Savior, and how His blood was shed for our sins, the interpreter rebelled and refused to go on, and spit in his face.
He wiped the spit off of his face, and just started to speak in tongues by faith.
HE GAVE A COMPLETE ALTAR CALL IN WHAT WAS SIMPLY TONGUES, BUT THOSE TONGUES WERE IN PERFECT RUSSIAN, and many, many Russians came forward to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. GLORY TO GOD.
I HAVE FOUGHT THE DEVIL IN TONGUES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND WON!
A lady was going through a deliverance and God began to give me a ‘tongue’ (a warfare language) that the devil understood, and was meant for him.
(Many don’t believe the Devil can understand the tongues of the ‘Spirit’, and there are languages of angels that they don’t understand, and that keeps Satan from knowing how to counteract what’s being said.
But then there are warfare tongues given to believers that challenges the demons, and tells them of their doom and reminds them of their eternal sentence to the Lake of Fire.”
As I began to rebuke the demons in tongues this demonized lady backed up to a wall, shaking her head while the demon spoke through her lips in terror, saying “DON’T TALK TO ME THAT WAY”.
That demon understood my tongues (which was a real language they understood, and it was binding them, and commanding them to leave in a language I didn’t understand, but they did, and they left. Praise God.
Dear friend, there’s more, so much more. but I’ll save it for another time. God bless and fill you with His precious Holy Spirit. You will have victories, that you never knew possible as you pray in tongues, and praise God in tongues.
Through messages and utterances in tongues, comes encouragement telling people of other languages the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, speaking the word of deliverance to the demonized in tongues they understand, setting them free.
Speaking the word of healing according to God’s Word in tongues and languages they understand, and must obey in Jesus mighty name brings healing and deliverance to them. ALL GLORY AND PRAISE BE TO OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, AND OUR LORD, JESUS, CHRIST. AMEN.
