It’s not surprising that in an increasingly more wicked and complex world today, in which we live, it definitely will take more of the power of God and His might than generations before us.
Paul, admonishes us firmly that we must be strong in the Lord. But how will we accomplish that? By ignoring Satan? Or by denying he is loose and like a roaring lion walking about seeking anyone he can devour?
(I Peter 5:8) “Curb every passion and be on the alert. Your great accuser, the Devil, is going about like a roaring lion to see whom he may devour”.
THIS WILL ADD TO YOUR UNDERSTANDING. READ: SATAN CONTROLS THROUGH THOUGHTS. WHAT KIND?
Paul makes it clear that we must draw our strength From God Himself, and through faith in Him, and faith in the provision He has made for us.
We must also understand that in order to be strong in the Lord we must put on the ‘WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD’, not just part of it, but all of it.
Putting on part of the armor of God may protect you partially, part of the time, but it gives one a false sense of security.
Unless you have on the whole armor of God, the parts that you have on will fail when you are hit with the ‘FIERY ARROWS OF THE DEVIL’ in the areas you don’t have it on in.
You must specifically take ‘THE SHIELD OF FAITH’ in order to quench all the fiery arrows of the Devil. Scripture says, “ABOVE ALL‘…take the Shield of faith”.
WHY ABOVE ALL?
Because my dear brother/sister nothing in the kingdom of God works without faith, nothing at all.
(Hebrews 11:6) “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Now, if you have all parts of the armor securely in place, but you don’t have on the ‘HELMET OF SALVATION’, nothing else will matter if you don’t have assurance that Christ saved you, and fear and doubt are ruling your heart and mind.
What if you have on all the parts of the armor, but you don’t have your loins girt about with ‘TRUTH‘, and you don’t have on ‘THE BREAST PLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS?
The whole armor will fail you, because you can’t go any further than ‘The Knowledge of the ‘TRUTH’, and in the absence of righteousness, there is only unrighteousness. And the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Jesus said, “IF THE SON THEREFORE SHALL MAKE YOU FREE, YOU SHALL BE FREE INDEED”.
If you don’t know the truth, and you’re not living by the truth of the Word of God you are bound, and if you’re bound the rest of the armor is useless to you.
Again, having on all the other parts of the armor are useless to you if you do not have on the ‘Breastplate of righteousness, because the opposite is unrighteousness. (This Scripture is not referring to ‘imputed righteousness’).
Imputed righteousness is granted to those who receive Christ as their Lord and Savior, but is only effective, if one is practicing ‘Practical righteousness‘.
Some would say, that’s works righteousness, legalism. No, that’s not trying to be accepted by God by our ‘GOOD WORKS’, OR BY KEEPING THE LAW. NO, IT IS NOT SELF-RIGHTEOUNESS, BUT SIMPLE ‘OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD, AND THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD’.
It is true that we are saved by ‘GRACE’ through ‘FAITH’, and without our good works, or by even keeping the commandments.
BUT, WHAT WE MUST UNDERSTAND’ is that breaking the commandments of the law, is called ‘DISOBEDIENCE‘.
And Scripture tells us that the ‘CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE’ SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD” (Eph. 2:2)
(I Cor. 6:9-10) “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sexual perverts, nor the thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God”.
HOW ARE YOU ENABLED TO BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT? ‘BY PUTTING ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD‘.
If you’ve been a believer very long you’ve discovered that everything you do to ‘draw closer to God’, and to become more established in the Lord, is met with stiff resistance from the Powers of Darkness.
YOU’LL PROFIT BY READING: SATAN IS NOT CALLED THE ‘GOD OF THIS WORLD FOR NOTHING’
As a result you ended up wounded, beat up, and possibly even farther from God than when you attempted to pray more, and read and study your Bible more.
THE REASON FOR DEFEAT WAS, ‘YOU DIDN’T HAVE YOUR PROTECTIVE GEAR ON. ‘THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD’.
(Eph 6:10-18) Gives us the ‘FULL ARMOR OF GOD’. It tells us that we are wrestling not flesh and blood, but ‘Principalities (supreme rulers), a spiritual prince – probably over your area blocking and hindering your prayers unless you know how to spiritually wrestle with them, having on the whole armor of God.
We’re wrestling against the ‘Rulers of the darkness of this world, against powers, and against the spiritual forces and spirits in the heavenly realms”.
INFORM YOURSELF: READ: SHIELD OF FAITH
It’s important to know that we can have confidence in this spiritual battle against these ‘UNSEEN FORCES‘, but only if we have on our protective gear, the whole armor of God.

We will conquer through prayer, and through living by and utilizing the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God,
We will win also by taking the Shield of Faith, the only thing that can quench the ‘FIERY MISSLES, AND ARROWS OF THE DEVIL’.
We must ask God for ‘ANGELIC HELP‘. Many of our battles are fought with the angels of God right by our side.
They are very powerful and will fiercely fight and battle for you, your family, and your country.
They are commissioned and sent by God with directions on how to defeat the Devil.
PRAYING IN TONGUES IS VERY IMPORTANT, AND ALSO VERY POWERFUL.
Concerning heavenly orders given to angels to protect and fight for you, tongues are extremely effective.
Tongues can speed up and break through barriers that no other type of prayers can do.
They can even gain healing and help for others in need.
Tongues are very important, and very effective.
In Tongues (of the Spirit), the Spirit-filled believer gives specific orders to the angels to fight the forces of Darkness, and to bring about healing, deliverance, salvation, and many other answers to your prayers.
This mystery is revealed in this scripture, and until it is revealed, we cannot see it.
(Psalm 103:20) “Bless the Lord, you His angels that excel in strength, that do His commandments, ‘HEARKENING TO THE VOICE OF HIS WORD”.
This is very exciting. This Scripture says, “That these angels (these mighty ones), do His bidding, who ‘OBEY HIS WORD’.
They fulfill the Word of God coming out of the believers mouth in a command that the angels clearly understand, and innately know that that command is from the heavenly Father. (Romans 8:26-28).
You see, dear Reader, that just as these angels obey God directly speaking to them, THEY ALSO OBEY THE ‘VOICE OF HIS WORD, COMING OUT OF THE SPIRIT DIRECTED BELIEVER’S MOUTH,
PROFITABLE READING: THE IMPORTANCE OF TONGUES
And these tongues of the Spirit are prayers, and praise, and warfare language that the Holy Spirit helps the believer to arrange and speak to perfection and power.
In the Spirit we clearly give commands to God’s angels to get the job done that the Father wants completed.
Dear Child of God, I’ve covered a lot of territory. We must put on the whole armor of God and learn how to use it skillfully.
With our spiritual armor on we can successfully defeat the enemy while at the same time doing spiritual warfare against him.
With that armor on we learn to use all types of prayer, which is suited for particular situations.
In successful and effective prayer we pray with our understanding at times, but when we don’t know what to pray for or how to pray, we pray in the Spirit, in Tongues.
When we pray in tongues of the Holy Ghost we always pray the will of God, and always pray the perfect prayer in perfect faith.
So when we pray with our understanding and pray also in the Spirit (tongues) we will get accomplished what months or years of praying could never do. Praise God.
