Dreams are mysterious. God created us with a deep conscious, subconscious, and conscious mind, and a Spirit deep within. Each has a purpose, and was wonderfully, uniquely, and mysteriously crafted by an all powerful, all knowing, and all loving God.
I will pull back the veil right at the start, and then work back to explain it’s workings.
(Matthew 2:13) “And when they were departed the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be there until I bring you word, for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him”
We see an angel coming through the dream gate to warn Joseph.
(Job 4:13-17) “In thoughts from the visions of the night, ‘WHEN DEEP SLEEP FALLS ON MEN, fear fell upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake…’THEN A SPIRIT PASSED BEFORE MY FACE‘; …THE HAIR OF MY FLESH STOOD UP, it stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof, an image was before my eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice saying, “Shall mortal man be more just than God? Shall a man be more pure than His Maker?”

Here’s, a spirit, that probably is an angel of God by what he tells Job, but the way he’s described, he sounds like a scary spirit. Some people believe it was a wicked spirit, but either way both God and demons at times may enter our dreams and we need to discern who it is that’s speaking.
Well, we all dream. Some people say they never dream. The truth is they dream but they forget their dreams the moment they wake up. I’m told that it isn’t healthy, for us not to remember any of our dreams.
Some dreams that produce stress, and are weird, or humorous , may be what they are because you ate too much pizza before you went to bed.
Our subconscious mind, may take a problem that we haven’t been able to solve, and during sleep we will come up with the answer, and in the morning we will wake up with the solution.
For an example, let’s say you just had a ‘NIGHTMARE’, and finally you woke up. You are releaved. The first thing you say, is ‘THANK GOD, THAT WAS ‘ONLY A DREAM’.
Many of us think that ‘NIGHTMARE’ was just a dream, and dreams have no substance, no reality, so ‘JUST FORGET ABOUT IT, JUST IGNORE IT’.
But, was that dream only a dream? Should we be at all concerned about it?
“YES, WE CERTAINLY SHOULD”.
When we dream, we enter into another dimension, another state of reality. At certain levels, I am thoroughly convinced that we enter through doors into ‘THE SPIRIT REALM’.
Now, in the ‘spirit’ there are two realms, two kingdoms. The Kingdom of God and Light, and the kingdom of Satan and Darkness.
And, if there is a level, a deep level in our dreams that not only opens a door to the ‘spirit realm’, but is actually a world of spirit, it would pay us well to know and understand something about it, and what’s happening to us in that realm.
EITHER GOD CAN SPEAK TO US, OR SATAN CAN SPEAK TO US IN OUR DREAMS. We need to understand that, and discern who it is that’s speaking.

It’s generally a real blessing and enlightenment when God speaks to us in dreams. Sometimes it’s in plain English (or whatever our native language is) which we can clearly understand, and that’s the way I like to get it from the Lord.
Sometimes God speaks in symbolic language and that is not always the easiest language to understand. It may take much prayer and observation to get a clear understanding of what God is attempting to say to us.
So, we see that God and His angels appear and speak to His children in dreams.

But what we don’t understand, (and sometimes don’t even believe) is that Satan, demons, and yes, (even Satanic Agents) sometimes appear in our dreams), and we need to be ready for such encounters.
If we believe that these ‘NIGHTMARES’ are only bad dreams, the enemy can do serious damage to us or our families.
I know a person who dreamed of being bitten by a bat, and when they woke up the very place they were bitten in their dream was the very place that teeth marks appeared on their back.
People dream they have had sexual intercourse with someone other than their spouse. They are shocked and they feel they have sinned and feel that they are so unclean.
Sometimes, this person believes they are a terrible person and actually give in to the dream and sin that very sin in their waking moments.
If you’ve dreamed of having a car accident, you must not ignore it, because it’s a curse put on you by Satanic agents, who literally have set things in motion in your dreams to be fulfilled in your waking moments, perhaps a week, month, or year later.
YOU MUST PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS OVER YOUR DREAMS, AND BREAK ANY CURSE THAT HAS COME WITH A DESTRUCTIVE DREAM, LIKE HAVING A CAR ACCIDENT, OR HAVING SEXUAL RELATIONS IN YOUR DREAMS.

BREAK THESE CURSES IN JESUS NAME.
You may dream that you have a terrible fight with your spouse, or that you get a divorce. YOU MUST REBUKE THAT DREAM RIGHT AWAY.
You may have noticed that when you dream like that, if you don’t plead the blood of Jesus over your marriage you may have a very serious argument that damages your relationship.
THAT’S THE DEVIL AND IT CAN ONLY BE AVOIDED IF YOU RECOGNIZE WHO IS CAUSING IT. Break that curse off of you the first thing when you wake up. Take authority over that dream in Jesus name.

In fact, I break demonic attacks that may come in dreams that I understand are placed upon me, which Satan causes me to forget. I just know that he operates that way, so I automatically break curses which he may or may not have placed on me or my family.
WHY?
Because one of the tactics of the enemy is to bring a curse in your dream to be fulfilled during your waking moments, but cause you to forget the dream, and never even remember that you had it.
Often, when you are attacked with this kind of dream, Satan actually shoots an arrow that remains stuck in your soul and spirit-man. Remember “Ephesians talks about taking the shield of faith in order to quench all the fiery darts (or arrows) of the wicked” (Eph. 6:16).

We need to realize that many of these things that we think are only symbolic are realities in the ‘Spirit Realm’. There is also true symbolism and it’s valuable to understand. Sometimes there can be symbolism and reality intersecting at the same time.
We need to realize that not only do demons and Satanic Agents appear in our dreams, but so does Jesus, His angels, and sometimes a godly person whom God may send in the ‘spirit’ to give you a message. These messages are most always a blessing and reassuring. Praise God.
Case in point. (Acts 16:9) “That night Paul had a vision: A man from Macedonia was standing there, pleading with him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us”.
A night vision may have been a dream, but either way, God was in control of the whole situation. No doubt a godly ‘Intercessor and prayer warrior’ was praying in the Spirit, and God allowed this man’s human spirit to momentarily enter Paul’s dream or vision, and call for help in Macedonia. The whole transaction was handled by the Spirit of the Lord.
When God does these things it’s important and exciting. A means of communication took place without the modern conveniences of currant day technology. Satan is an imitator and has simply tapped into and uses God’s supernatural method of communication.
The devil however uses it for his evil and destructive purposes to oppose and hurt Believers. God uses it to communicate a message clearly and quickly, and it blesses all involved and promotes the righteous kingdom of God.
Satan wins the war when Christians don’t seek God for knowledge and understanding to deal with our enemy the Devil.
He is much smarter than us, and unless we are close enough to God for Him to give us wisdom to know what the Devil is up to he will defeat us.
Christians need to know their God, know the Word of God, know how to pray in faith, and know how to use their Sword skillfully (the Word of God) against the Devil and all his demons.
Christians have both the authority and power to defeat every demon and the understanding of how to out maneuver them at every turn. But this happens too seldom because many Christians are only half-hearted and lukewarm.
This condition, too often, causes Christians to lose battle after battle with the enemy of our souls. We need to wake up, stand up and fight along side our Commander and Chief, Jesus Christ, leading us and directing us in every move.
When we are totally committed to Jesus Christ and love Him with all our hearts, having the whole armor on, and the Sword of the Spirit in our hand, and the Word of God in our mouths, we can’t help but win all the battles that we find ourselves engaged in.
In closing, I hope we understand that as we get the gateways of our soul cleared and cleansed of all defilements, we deny the devil access to our dreams.
Before we go to sleep it is good to pray and apply Jesus blood to our sleep and dream life. Ask God for His angels to guard the gateway to our soul and to the ‘spirit realm’ itself.
Invite, Jesus and His angels to have access to your dreams. Ask Him to speak and direct your life by the very same means by which he spoke to and directed His children in the Scriptures.
It’s always good to try the ‘spirits’ to see whether they truly be of God.
(I John 4:1-2) “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they be of God: Because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby you know the Spirit of God. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God.”
Maybe you haven’t given your heart and life to Jesus Christ. If you haven’t, pray this prayer.
Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me of all my sins. I don’t want to live in sin any longer. Jesus, come into my heart and save me now. I want to live for you and serve you all the days of my life. I renounce Satan and his power, and control over me in Jesus mighty name. God, fill me with the Holy Spirit so that I might have power over all the power of the enemy, and power to witness Jesus to others, and power to live victoriously every day. Thank you Lord, for hearing my prayer and saving my soul.
Understand, dear friend, that prayer starts you out as a born-again Believer, and God is with you, but remember this, you also, must continue on in Him, faithful to Him in prayer, praise, witnessing, blessing and encouraging others.
In a nutshell here’s what God has done for us, and for the world….
(John 3:16) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have ever-lasting-life”.
(Isaiah 53:5) “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the punishment for our sins was laid upon HIm (Jesus), and by His wounds (stripes) we are healed).
God has provided redemption, eternal life, healing, physical, mental, emotional all through Jesus death on the cross. He paid the ultimate price for these provisions by His death and shed blood.
(Ephesians 1:7) “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sin according to the riches of His grace”.
With the all clear signal, move steadily forward bringing in the Harvest of souls and promoting the kingdom of our God.
Remember, that in the Scriptures it says one of the end-time signs is that God would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters would prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions…”
So, child of God stand firm and stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. There’s a great work to do and not much time to do it. The sun is setting. Let’s reach as many souls as we possibly can in the short time we have left. Amen.
