“WORKING WITH ANGELS. HOW EXCITING. WE KNOW THEY PROTECT US, BUT DID YOU KNOW THAT ANGELS WERE CREATED TO MINISTER TO AND FOR US? THEY WERE CREATED TO HELP US IN SUPERNATURAL MINISTRY?”
First, let’s get one thing straight. Angels are majestic beings created by God to do His bidding and to watch over and protect those who love and serve Him. (Heb. 1:14 kjv) tells us, “Are they not ministering spirits sent forth to minister “FOR” (not just ‘TO’), but “FOR”, those who shall be heirs of salvation.
That means the angels will minister to us many times, but their main purpose is to minister ‘For’ us when we have need. However, they are not there just to satisfy some whimsical, need or selfish desire.
Another thing we must understand is, we must (NEVER WORSHIP AN ANGEL, OR ANGELS). Like us, they were created to worship God. (Heb. 1:6) “And again, when He brings the first-begotten (Jesus) into the world, he says, “and let all the ‘ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM’.
It’s not only angels, but anyone, or anything, that we exalt above or love more than God becomes idolatry, it then becomes our God. God must be central in our lives. However, everything in the Word of God is important and has it’s proper place and must be attended to. God loves all of His creation, and that includes the ‘Angels’. We, however, were created in God’s image and therefore, His love for ‘MANKIND’, knows no bounds.
With that we must understand God expects mankind to accept His Son Jesus as Lord and Savior and continue in loving obedience to Him as long as he lives. Again, the angels were created to fulfill God’s purposes, and one of those great purposes was to work together with Spirit filled believers to fulfill supernatural ministry. That is a higher level. That is a level higher than the angels simply protecting us. They are commissioned to work with us to promote God’s kingdom, and lead us to people who need help, encouragement, salvation, healing, miracles, or to bring someone into your life to help you with a work to be done, or to encourage and lift you up.
In Acts 5, the Apostles were seeing many people healed and demons that vexed people were being cast out, and the Chief priest and all with him were filled with indignation and cast the apostles into prison and the “Angel of the Lord” brought them forth”, and told them to go into the Temple and preach the gospel of salvation and healing”.
Now, it was God who set them free, but he sent His angel to accomplish it. The angel gave them the ‘word to speak’, which was directive. Though the Word of Knowledge is a gift of the Holy Spirit, it’s operation may come directly from the Holy Spirit to man’s spirit, or given to an angel to whisper in the ear of the Spirit filled believer. DON’T PUT GOD IN A BOX. He’ll do things in different ways, but it is God, and it is marvelous in our sight. PRAISE GOD, AMEN. (More to come about Angels).
