The written Word is not just a document or ‘words’, but the living Word.
It saves our soul, though in written form, it lives, it breathes, and is connected in a vital way with the living, breathing person of Jesus Christ Himself, (truly a mystery).
I don’t know how, but the living written Word is connected and is one with the Person, Jesus, who is the living Word.
Also, it is one with the living, breathing, written Word of God.
Jesus is the Word of God, and God the Son. Not God the Father, or God the Holy Spirit, but Jesus, the Word of the Father.
Jesus is the exact image of the Father, and that’s why Jesus could say to Phillip, when he asked, ‘Show us the Father, and he said, “Phillip, have you been so long with me and do you not know that he who has seen Me, has seen the Father.
(Jn 14:8-9). Jesus is the exact, and living expression of the Father. The living word, and sermon of the Father.
If you want to know what the Father is like, listen to the Son, watch the Son, see what He does, look at His character, it’s exactly like, and how, the Father looks (spiritually), and what He does, and how He thinks.
(Heb 1:3) “God’s Son has all the brightness of God’s own glory AND IS LIKE HIM IN EVERY WAY.
By his own mighty word, he holds the universe together. After the Son had washed away our sins, he sat down at the right hand of the majesty on High”.
The written Word of God is forever settled in Heaven, and heaven and earth shall pass away, but Jesus said, “My Word shall not pass away”.
“But the Word of God is alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing, even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”.
All of this is true, and will work mighty, mighty miracles in our lives and in the life of the church, and will defeat every devil it comes in contact with. There’s only one problem.
The life and power that’s in the Word, cannot operate in doubt and unbelief. Doubt and unbelief is like the off switch to a light. The light and power of it is turned off. The off switch is on and the on switch is off.

(Mark 11:23) “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Everything in the kingdom of God operates by faith and that’s why it’s so important to operate in faith. Just to quote the Word without faith or passion or love for the Word is just a mental exercise and will be as dead as a door nail.
