A man of my church told me of a forgotten dream he had (forgotten because of fear). God brought it back while I was preaching about an ‘orphan boy’ who was prophesying and God was speaking through him in the first person. “If you think perhaps you will not get to heaven, THAT THOUGHT IS OF THE DEVIL I WILL NOT DESTROY MY OWN CHILDREN.

That word that God gave that little orphan boy brought that awful dream back and encouraged me and let me know Satan was lying to me and putting great fear in my heart. The Devil said with a frightful booming voice, “”You might as well stop what you’re doing (living for God and coming to church), because you’re not going to make it to heaven. You’re going to hell anyway.” I woke up and just shook all over because i was so scared.

But when you read what the boy said, “If you think perhaps you will not get to heaven, that thought is of the devil. I will not destroy my own children.” That prophetic word from the Lord brought great comfort to my heart, and I knew that if I continued to trust God and remain faithful to Him and His Word, I would be assured of heaven.

Let me just add, this is absolutely true, but we need to be reminded that God is talking about a Christian that is loving God and walking in obedience to His Word. We all make mistakes, and we all sin at times, but we must ask God for forgiveness and turn from those sins and God will restore us back into fellowship with Him. It is very important at this point, however, that we rebuke the voice of the Devil and hold only to, and believe only the assuring and comforting Word of the Lord.

(Isaiah 41:10) “Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness”.

What powerful assurance.

Just in case you aren’t saved but want to know how to find Christ, ‘Here’s How’.

Ask God to forgive you of all your sins, and repent. Repent means to be sorry you offended God and you stop sinning. Ask Jesus to save your soul. Tell Him you receive Him into your heart and life as Lord and Savior. Renounce Satan, his power, and control over your life in Jesus name. Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit and power in Jesus name. Then thank Him for hearing your prayer and saving your soul.

ISN’T GOD GOOD?
