(Phil 2:5-11) “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth: And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”.
Why should we have the MInd of Christ? Because, the Mind of Christ is the perfect will of God. It comprehends everything that our Heavenly Father wants in our lives, the lives of all believers, and in His Heavenly kingdom. But, individually, we need the Mind of Christ, because that’s the only way we will know the will of God for our lives. You will discover that those that truly have the ‘Mind of Christ’ had a driving passion to Know Jesus as Lord, an insatiable desire to want Him, love Him, and to do His will. They wanted Him far more than they wanted to fulfill their own desires. They are the ones who ended up with the Mind of Christ.
We can only have the ‘Mind of Christ’ if we read the Word, Study the Word, (memorize the Word), obey the Word, and live the Word. The Word of God is the ‘Mind of Christ’ for each of us.
(Heb 4:12) “For the Word of God is ‘ALIVE’ and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing, even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Nothing is any more powerful than the Word of God. It is alive and powerful, and when we wield that Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, by faith, it connects us to it’s living, breathing, speaking, devil rebuking, victory producing, prayer answering, mountain moving power. All of these things and more spring forth from the ‘Mind of Christ, “LETTING THIS MIND BE IN YOU WHICH WAS ALSO IN CHRIST JESUS’. AMEN. (Scroll down to bottom of pg and leave a comment)
