Second Corinthians 2:11 warns us “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: READ: for we are not ignorant of his devices“, OR ARE WE?

I wrote a whole article about this some time back. So important is this subject that I am revisiting it. You say, “I was taught to listen to God and His Word, not to Satan, so what are you telling us today?
I am telling you that, of course, we are to listen to God, and obey what He tells us in His Word.
But I am also telling you that we need to be discerning as to what the Devil is saying, and what we should listen to and what not to listen to.

But to be able to discern when Satan is lying to us and when he is ‘Actually telling the truth’ is absolutely essential’.
The problem here, arises because many Christians have been taught the ‘MYTH, THAT SATAN IS INCAPABLE OF TELLING THE TRUTH?
Hear me dear friend, that is an incorrect teaching and let me tell you why. The Myth springs from one Scripture, John 8:44. The Scripture is not a myth, but the truth, because it is the words of Jesus.

A little portion of this scripture says, that “Satan is a liar and the father of liars, and that ‘THERE IS NO TRUTH IN HIM’.
As a result, many Christians assume this means that ‘SATAN IS ENCAPABLE OF TELLING THE TRUTH.

Though Satan is a liar and the father of lies, and by Jesus saying there is no truth in him, we are to understand that every one of his purposes and plans are to steal, kill, and destroy.
And he will use lying as his chief weapon to deceive mankind and cause him to let his guard down concerning his works and influence against him.
But has this rendered our mortal enemy incapable of telling the truth? If it has it would have made it impossible for Satan to give clear and accurate orders to his army of demons to attack Christians.

We know that isn’t so, because Christians are attacked all the time by his demons under his clear orders and instructions.
HERE’S THINGS SATAN SAYS THAT CHRISTIANS MUST LISTEN TO FOR THEIR SURVIVAL. (These are times he is telling the Truth)
Many a truthful statement is confessed by demons as they are commanded to tell the truth.

Through the lips of a demonized person they speak and reveal what they don’t want to, but are pressured into confessing.
1.We can’t attack a Christian while in fervent prayer. But the day they don’t pray, ‘WE PENETRATE’. So, Child of God Pray!
2..Demon: “I control the souls that are empty through sin”
READ: IT’S THE LAW
Sin creates an emptiness within, by having no fruit of the Spirit, no love, no joy, no peace, no presence of God, and no power or authority with God, and leaves one open for Satanic control. So fill your heart and mind with the Word of God.
(Psalm 119:11) “Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against You”.

The Word is truth and reveals the lies of the enemy. But even the Truth that Satan gives us under pressure when Commanded during a deliverance to reveal what he’s doing gives us direction as to how to order our lives when walking out our deliverance after the demons are cast out.
3..Demon: “If we can get them to lose their temper, ‘WE’VE GOT THEM”.
4..Demon: Those who won’t forgive, ‘WE’VE GOT THEM”.
5..Demon: “Those who are into ‘Pornography’ BELONG TO US”. We better listen to them on these things, BECAUSE THEY’RE TELLING THE TRUTH”. These confessions of Truth by our enemy, Satan, are warnings that we better pay attention to. If we don’t deal with these issues, Satan will take control of our lives. We must get deliverance from his power and control.
HOW CAN WE GET DELIVANCE FROM SATAN’S POWER?
1..Confess your sin. (I John 1:9)
2..Repent of your sin. Turn away from the very sin that opened the door to Satan’s demons to control, and bind you.
3..there may be a generational Curse that needs to be broken. If someone in your family bloodline practiced a particular sin and didn’t repent of it, then that sin is passed down through your bloodline and can cause you and even your children problems.

(Exodus 20:5) “Thou shalt not bow down thyself to idols or graven images, nor serve them, for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquities of the fathers (parents) upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me…”
There are other sins beside Idolatry that will bring a generational curse on us and our children currently.
It is wise to listen to these warnings that come from demons speaking through the lips of those being delivered, and get free from the bondage by repenting and stop the sin that brought the curse.
Then know that freedom and deliverance comes through Jesus Christ, God’s Son.
(John 8:36) “If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed”.
We listen to Satan when by his warnings we learn how we got bound by him.
But we listen to God’s Word on how to get saved, how to get filled with His Spirit, how to live in victory every day, and how to walk in the Spirit, and not in the flesh.
That’s how to climb higher into the very presence of God, and to break off of us every bondage of the devil that came by opening a door to him by sin.
TO GET SAVED PRAY THIS PRAYER
Dear God, forgive me of all my sins. Jesus, come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Wash me clean in your precious shed blood.
Thank You for dying for me, and redeeming my soul. I renounce Satan, his power, and his influence over me. God fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and give me authority over all demon power in Jesus name.
Thank You Lord for hearing my prayer, saving my soul, and delivering me from the power of the enemy. Amen.
