(by Richard Sigmund, as told by him)
There’s a song that says, “Heaven is a wonderful place, filled with glory and grace. I wanna see my savior’s face, oh, heaven is a wonderful place”. And so it is, beyond all description. Yes, many people have entered heaven through a sickness, or car accident and then been sent back to earth by God to tell of the realities of that glorious place, the everlasting abode of the Redeemed.
Here’s some fascinating things that Richard wrote about. This first one puts a smile on my face. “There’s no death in heaven: It’s against the ‘LAW’.” (Rom 8:2) “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath had me free from the law of sin and death”. “There were clouds of glory in the sky. These clouds of glory were thousands of angels and of people walking in groups. THEY WERE STROLLING IN THE SKY. I heard one person say, “When he sees his mansion, he’s going to shout glory.”
When we worship God, Jesus said, the true worshiper will worship God in Spirit and in truth. For the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth” Jn 4:23-24. When we worship God and the high praises of God are in our mouths, or we are praying in the Spirit (tongues), our spirit rises higher and higher, and if uninterrupted, may well join the redeemed saints who made up the clouds of glory in the skies of heaven, worshiping and rejoicing in our great and glorious God, or we may, in spirit, find ourselves in the awesome Throne Room of heaven and the Universe. You may actual experience being there and worshiping the Father with joy unspeakable and full of glory, or you may in spirit actually be there and sense great joy and victory in Jesus Christ, but yet not realize that your spirit had actually taken a trip to heaven and back again. You say, “That doesn’t make sense”. No it doesn’t, but in the spirit realm 2 and 2 doesn’t make 4. Groups of Believers strolling in the skies of heaven doesn’t make sense, nor does many of the scenes of heaven described by the Apostle John as he was caught up in the Spirit to witness the realities of heaven in the book of Revelation.
Maybe we can understand this a little better by seeing what Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:6, “And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”. This is where we are right now, seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. WE ARE ACTUALLY IN TWO PLACES AT THE SAME TIME. A part of our Spirit is actually seated there together with other believers and with Christ Jesus. Seated there by the Heavenly Father Himself. Do you see yourself there? Probably not. Do you hear what He’s saying to you there? Again I say, “Probably not”. There are real heavenly places, but do you see this place? Can you describe it? Probably not. But, if God would open your spiritual eyes, you would see yourself actually there (a part of your spirit), you would see other believers sitting there also. You would see our glorious Redeemer also. Those who have had there spiritual eyes and ears opened, would see what’s going on there. We are actually privileged to help Jesus make very important decision that have to be made on earth. Jesus doesn’t have to have us help HIm, but He gives us the privilege of helping HIm. It gives Him and the Father great joy, and it gives us great joy also. PRAISE THE LORD.
