This message is going to bless and instruct you tremendously. God’s blessing is upon this article and will fill in a piece of the puzzle that may be missing in your understanding, and in your ability to hear God accurately.

I don’t think I’m missing it to tell you, “We all need to be able to hear and recognize God’s voice more than we do.
God created us after His likeness and after His image. Do you realize how marvelous that is? No other creature, or intelligent beings, such as angels, archangels, seraphims, or cherubims, were ever created after the likeness and image of a perfect God, though they are magnificent beings.
(Gen. 1:27) “So, God created man in his own image, in the image and likeness of God he created him. Male and female he created them.”
(Gen. 2:7) “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul”.

Psalm 139:14) “I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made”.
God created us as tripartite beings, meaning we are three parts in our being and in our creation. We all understand that we have a body, because we can see that part of our being.
Then we have a soul, which is made up of our mind, our emotions, our will (and desires). Most people follow the thought that we are ‘spirit, and have a soul, and live in a physical body.

Our body is either male or female. Our ‘soul’ is our mind, our will, and our emotions, and our ‘spirit’ is composed of worship, intuition, and conscience.
Now, let’s see how our being works. First, when God created us, out of the dust of the earth, he then breathed into this handsome lifeless body (The body of Adam) the ‘BREATH OF LIFE’, and man became a ‘LIVING SOUL” (kjv).

God created Adam’s body to connect to this natural, physical world, and enjoy the great pleasures, sights and sounds, and touch, and taste of this beautiful sinless world (before the fall), without a taint or blemish.
When God breathed into man’s nostrils the breath of life, it was more than just oxygen, but He breathed into man a part of Himself, which was ‘spirit’, like His own.
This didn’t make man a little ‘god’, but it did make Him like God formed in His image.

But since man’s fall, the image of God in him, has become deformed, and diseased with sin, and would only be remedied through God sending His own Son in sinless flesh, and totally freeing man from all wickedness.
And dying in our place, He took our sin upon Himself on the cross, and then carried it all away, never to be found again.
God Wants to Bless You: YOU PRAYED, “LORD, WHERE SHOULD I GIVE. THEN YOU PULLED US UP
He shed His blood, for our redemption, cleansing, and forgiveness of sin, so we could be made righteous through the righteousness of Jesus Christ, and be made holy through His precious soul cleansing blood.
(Eph. 1:7) “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sin, according to the riches of His grace”.
He is so kind in riches and grace that He purchased our redemption and freedom with the blood of His Son and forgave our sins”.

Our human ‘spirit’ was literally breathed out of the very Spirit of the living God into our nostrils and made us an eternal soul intended to live forever with God in heaven.
The beauty of our spirit is that it is capable of receiving revelation from God’s Spirit. It’s spirit communicating with spirit. It’s deep calling unto deep.

But, ever since the fall of man, man’s spirit became dead, not that it no longer existed, but that it had been cut off from God through rebellion and sin, and no longer could hear the voice of God, or be sensitive to His will.
But God in His mercy sent His Son Jesus to redeem all who through the hearing of the gospel would recognize that they were lost and undone before God and His Son, and would call out upon the Lord, and God would save mankind through His marvelous grace as he placed his faith in the God of salvation.

(Ephesians 2:8-9) “For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works unless anyone should boast”.
NOW THE SOUL OF MAN IS A MARVELOUS CREATION.
It was not a mistake. It is not bad. And so many look down on the soul of man as though it is an inferior part of us. Many feel that the spirit is more important than the soul. And that any operation of our soul concerning spiritual things, or revelation is ‘SOULISH’, and misleading, or deceptive or of the Devil, but nothing could be farther from the truth than that.
I think, we have a rather dim view of our soul, and think it gets in the way of our spirit

The reason for that thinking comes from the fact that the soul needs conversion as well as our spirit. When we were saved, we were born-again by the Spirit of God. Our spirit was quickened and made alive.
Some of us saw a mighty change in our lives, and old things passed away, such as drinking, drugs, and swearing.
But we might still have problems with anger, or gossip, or jealousy. We might have wondered, did we really get saved, or have we been deceived.
Because the Scripture tells us in II Cor. 5:17 “IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, HE IS A ‘NEW CREATION’, OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY, BEHOLD ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW”. And that Scripture truly describes what a genuine Christian is.

Now, not only must our spirit be saved, be born-again of the Spirit, but our soul needs conversion also. I will explain what I mean shortly, right after I describe the important function of the ‘SOUL’.
The soul is married to the body and the spirit of man. It stands between the body and the spirit, and holds hands with both.
It alone has contact and consciousness of the natural physical realm through our bodies, and has contact (or should have) with our human spirit.

The problem arises when our soul is not brought into harmony and agreement with our spirit.
Our souls are in daily contact with the world, and are full of all our interactions with it. That’s what the natural side of our soul is supposed to do. But, we are to only accept into our souls, that which is good, and right, and Godly.
Every thing else we are to reject and not allow into our souls.

It is the ungodly, the worldly, and that which would distract us from focusing on the Lord, or that which does not please the Lord that we must release out of our souls.
Also, things which wouldn’t be sinful in themselves but because we fill our soul so full of those worldly things, there’s no room for God, no room for prayer, no room to worship Him and to love Him.
We love the world and those things in the world and that creates a great problem in our ability to hear the voice of the Spirit of God. To love the world and it’s lusts is to love what belongs to Satan.
To love these things reveals the nature of Satan in us, and very little of the nature of God. There needs to come a complete change in our being and in our nature. And that can only take place as we surrender our all to Jesus Christ.

(James 1:21) “Lay apart all filthiness and overflowing wickedness, and receive with meekness the en-grafted Word (implanted Word), which is able to save your souls.”
This saving of our souls seems to be an ongoing process. Getting the Word on the inside of us, and letting it change our nature is so necessary, and by changing our nature into the nature and character of God ‘BRINGS OUR SOUL INTO HARMONY WITH OUR HUMAN SPIRIT.
Then, when our soul comes into conformity, and harmony with our spirit, then you will begin to hear the voice of God, and see realities of the spirit realm, such as angels, Jesus, heaven, (and as God wills the realm of demons). A soul in harmony with our spirit is a soul that will hear the voice of God.

Through the gift of discerning of ‘spirits’ you may know certain demons, and their activities so you can conquer them and cast them out by the power of God in the name of Jesus.
Scripture tells us in (I John 2:15-17) “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, for all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father, but is of the world, and the world passes away and the lust thereof, but he that does the will of God abides forever”.
That Scripture does not imply that we are not to love His creation. The beauty of a sunrise or sunset. We love the beauty of God’s creation. We love the lakes and streams, the beautiful flowers and trees, and the mountains and valleys.

God, however does not want us to love worldly things which Satan has put his stamp of approval on.
Meditating on God’s Word day and night like we read in Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is recorded therein. Then you shall make your way prosperous and then you shall have good success.”

The Word engrafted in you, and implanted and you meditating in it day and night is bringing about a conversion of the soul, and in so doing is bringing your soul into harmony with your spirit.
This harmony and agreement with your spirit, opens the door and channel between your soul and spirit which enables you to hear the voice of God. This lets you know what God is saying to you each day. This let’s you know what God wants you to do.
THERE IS ANOTHER AVENUE THAT OFTEN HINDERS OUR SOUL BEING IN HARMONY WITH OUR SPIRIT, SO THAT WHAT GOD IS CONVEYING TO YOUR SPIRIT, MAY ALSO BE CONVEYED TO YOUR SOUL, OR MIND.
And that is the sins of your ancestors going back 3 to 4 generations on both your mother and father’s side even up to 10 generations to those who were born illegitimately and in certain instances goes back even farther.
(Exodus 20:5) “For I the Lord your God am a jealous God visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me and keep My commandments”.

But you say, “Well, Christians don’t hate God, so how is it possible that God would pass those curses down to them. We need to understand who it is that God hates.
It may surprise you, but God has made it very plain, and clear, that anyone, including Christians who do not keep the commandments of the Lord, those who do not obey God’s Word, are those who God says, hates Me, it’s as simple as that.

WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT. THAT’S WHAT GOD HAS SAID.
Now, those sins that are passed down to us from the sins of generations past who have not dealt with them, and received forgiveness, has been passed down to us and has a voice and may be speaking to us day and night. Rehearsing those sins, and fears, and drives to commit them every day, sometimes every hour.
These sins if we are committing them, need to be dealt with by asking God to forgive us, and cleanse us in His precious blood.
Then confess the sins of your ancestors (which you may not know), but say, “God forgive my sins and the sins of my ancestors, and release me from their power and influence over me”, and God will answer that prayer.

‘NOW, WHEN YOU PRAY AND GOD SPEAKS TO YOU IN YOUR SPIRIT, THE CLUTTER IS GONE, AND YOUR SOUL IS ABLE TO HEAR THAT MESSAGE, AND THE HEALTH OF SOUL AND SPIRIT IS RESTORED. AMEN.
