I was shocked to learn a few years ago that Halloween has become America’s 2nd largest holiday, with only Christmas taking the #1 spot. It is the second highest consumer spending holiday, again, with Christmas holding first place.
I’ll have to admit that as a boy I loved Halloween. I loved the costumes (the scarier the better). I loved to go out trick or treating. I loved the Halloween parties.
But over the years the activities, the happenings, the movies have gotten more sinister and deeper into the demonic and death than ever before.
So, now I’m going to talk very frankly about Halloween, it’s roots, and what it is all about, ‘AND WHAT I KNOW ABOUT THE DARK SIDE OF IT ‘PERSONALLY‘.
HOW CAN THERE BE ANY HARM TO THE INNOCENT CELEBRATION OF HALLOWEEN?
Quoting from a ‘tract’ I wrote in 1991, Dorine Irvine gives the following testimony. Dorine was a converted witch who was at one time a member of the highest ancient of Satanic Orders in Europe.
She advanced to rank of ‘QUEEN OF WITCHES’.
One of their doctrines is, ‘EVIL MUST INCREASE THAT SATAN MIGHT REIGN’.
So, imagine all the witches delight and laughter as they went by the church and saw the Pastor saying, ‘COME TO OUR HALLOWEEN PARTY’.
There the Christians are celebrating Halloween. Little do they know what they are celebrating.
IT’S ONE OF THE GREATEST FESTIVITIES ‘IN WITCHCRAFT.
NO CHRISTIAN SHOULD CELEBRATE ‘HALLOWEEN‘.
And if you knew what I know, and you haven’t heard the half, you would never celebrate Halloween again. These are the words and advice of the once powerful ‘QUEEN OF WITCHES’ who was brought into the glorious light and liberty of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dorine had great power given to her by Satan. In a contest with other witches a bird was released from a cage, and with one wave of her hand the bird was killed in mid-flight.
She was hostile to Christians. She worked spells against them, and desecrated, and vandalized their churches. She mocked God and blasphemed His holy name.
Then God broke into her miserable life, and she found Jesus Christ to be a far greater power, than Satan. She also found Jesus to be so full of love, forgiveness, and compassion (John 8:44; 10:10).
She also knew, that when Satan had no more use for her he would destroy her.

The ‘ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA tells us that Halloween has connections with the religion of the Druids in Ireland and Scotland which began about 2,000 years ago.
The Celtic year ended on October 31, the eve of Samhain (LORD OF THE DEAD).
For the Druids, Samhain was both the ‘end of summer’, and a ‘FESTIVAL OF THE DEAD’.
They believe that the souls of the dead would revisit their homes on this day. They needed protection for their crops and herds from demonic influences. They believed that certain fire rites, and divination (which is an occult means of telling the future) were needed to appease the demons.
OCTOBER 31, HALLOWEEN, WAS THE ‘ONLY DAY’ ON WHICH THE HELP OF THE ‘DEVIL’ WAS INVOKED FOR SUCH PURPOSES.

It is very difficult for many Christians to admit, that Halloween is a pagan holiday, ‘ROOTED IN SATANISM’, because of sentimental reasons. Many parents, when they were children, enjoyed the costume parties, and the ‘trick or treating’, and simply want their children to enjoy what they enjoyed. There’s nothing wrong with having good clean fun, but celebrating a holiday that is DEFINITELY DEDICATED TO SATAN IS FORBIDDEN BY GOD.
(Jeremiah 10:2) says, “THUS SAYS THE LORD, ‘LEARN NOT THE WAY OF THE HEATHEN’.

Without a doubt Halloween is a pagan, heathen, and Satanic practice going all the way back to the Druids in the British Isles.
The youthful pranks, and mischievous acts done on Halloween, only tend to conceal the deeper evils, and horrors of this day.
It is a matter of record, that several weeks before Halloween, there is an increase in the kidnappings of both children and teens.
Some of which have been ‘SACRIFICED’ to Satan. It would be ‘WISE TO KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILDREN ARE AT ALL TIMES, ESPECIALLY DURING THIS SEASON.
To participate in the festivities of Halloween, which is a celebration of ‘DEATH’, to the ‘LORD OF DEATH‘, even innocently is to strengthen the bands of wickedness.
The Bible says, “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness, and what communion has light with darkness” (Eph 5:11; II Cor. 6:14).
Halloween often stirs up a curiosity, to experiment with the evil side of the supernatural, such as holding a seance, trying out some witchcraft spell, or playing with a Ouija board.
Engaging in any of the above, ‘OPENS DOORS TO DEMONS’ of deception and destruction, and is strictly prohibited by God’s Word.
So, dear Reader, if you’re not a Christian, give yourself to God by receiving Jesus Christ into your heart, and confessing and forsaking your sins.
When you repent and believe on Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He welcomes you and receives you, right then, as His very own child.

Dear Christian reader, have nothing to do with the celebration of Halloween for the sake of your children and family.
Dedicate yourself fully to the Lord, Jesus, Christ. Take your stand for righteousness. When you do you free the angels to protect you. When you give yourself to something forbidden by God, it handcuffs your angel, and they can’t protect you.
It opens doors for the demons to bring ‘Marriage Wrecking Spirits’, and spirits that can hurt, put fear in your children, and cause great damage to their faith. It may cause them to reject God, the Bible, His Word, Christians, Church and a loving faith and fellowship in Jesus Christ.
Child of God, plead the blood over your family, your spouse, your children, your house, your car, and all that is yours.
Plead the blood of Jesus over you, and your family. Satan can’t touch you if you stay under the blood.
HOW DO YOU DO THAT?
You stay under the blood through ‘OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD, AND TO GOD HIMSELF’. You stay under the blood by staying close to Jesus, by loving Jesus, by forgiving everyone, by loving even your enemies.
You stay under the blood by walking in the light. (I John 1:7) “If we walk in the light as He (God) is in the light we have fellowship one with the other, and ‘THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST CLEANSES US FROM ALL SIN’.
WHAT IS WALKING IN THE LIGHT?
Walking in the light is loving your brothers and sister in the Lord. Walking in the light is walking in the Spirit. Walking in the light is walking in truth and in the Word of God. Walking in the Light is walking in Faith, it’s walking in righteousness and godliness.
When you do walk in the Light, Satan can’t get near you. He hates the light. It hurts him, it torments him, and it destroys his works.
One warning though: Satan throws fiery darts. These fiery darts are dark thoughts of doubt. Though Satan can’t get close enough to touch you when you’re under the blood, he can throw fiery darts which can reach your mind.
Victory or defeat is just a split second away. You must immediately extinguish that fiery dart (arrow) by counteracting it with the Word of God.
Satan can get through to one’s mind, even though they are covered with the blood, but you must keep the victory by resisting the doubt, and holding fast to the Word of faith. THEN YOU WILL STAY FREE. PRAISE GOD.
In her sleep my wife repeated over and over again these words (by the Spirit), (I had to tell her what she said when she woke up, – ‘NO MATTER WHAT, STAND ON THE WORD, THE PROBLEM HAS TO GO BEFORE THE WORD, BECAUSE THE WORD CANNOT FAIL’.
