(Ephesians 2:5-7) “God made us alive with Christ Jesus even when we were dead in trespasses – it is by grace that you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. THAT IN ORDER OF THE COMING AGES THAT HE MIGHT SHOW THE INCOMPARABLE RICHES OF GRACE, EXPRESSED IN HIS KINDNESS TO US IN CHRIST JESUS”.
Wow, do you get that? ‘SEATED WITH CHRIST IN HEAVENLY PLACES. Can you see that? Can you even fathom that.
That the great God of all the universe would exalt his own Children to such a high, noble, and lofty position. A position of authority and power. But one that He can only share with those with humble hearts, and who love Him with all their being. That’s something to rejoice about, amen?
(Ephesians 1:19-23) “And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, which He worked in Christ when He raised him from the dead, and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power, and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but in the world to come, and has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him, that fills all in all”
(Ephesians 2:1-4) “And you hath he quickened (made alive), who were dead in trespasses and sins. Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:
Among whom also we all had our conversation (manner of life) in times past in the lusts of the flesh; fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind: and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us”.
Before we were saved we were a mess. In fact we were dead, we were lost, and had no connection to the God of life.
We wanted nothing to do with God, His ways, and His righteousness.
But we were blind and couldn’t see that God loved us with a love so great our minds could not even take it in.
Because He loved us so much he had prepared all of heaven for us, if we’d only come to Him. If we’d only pledge our allegiance, our loyalty, and our lives to Him.

2 Peter 1:3 “His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and excellence”.
How much more could we ever expect than this. Could we even imagine it. Could we ever, even take it in. But for all of this, let us never cease to thank God and praise Him.
Think about it, He saved us. He saved you. He saved me. He saved all those who recognized their depravity, their lostness, and they humbled themselves down before Him.
They bowed their knee to the God of all creation. They repented, and asked God to forgive them of their trespasses and sins.
They asked God to save them. They asked Jesus to come into their hearts and He did, and He gave them eternal life.
John 3:16 “For God sooooo (much) loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus), that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.
Before we were saved we walked according to the course (ways, and manners) of this world, “…according to the prince of the power of the air”.
EXCITING: ANGELS, ANGELS, ANGELS,
We, in times past lived like the lost world, lusted like the lost world, and thought and acted, and behaved like the wicked of this world, because we were part of this lost world.
We needed a Savior. Oh, how we needed a Savior. But there was something that was standing in our way. There was someone who was blocking our path to God.
Who was it?
I think you know. He is our great adversary. Yes, that’s right it was Satan, the Devil, the old serpent, the Dragon, the great deceiver, formerly known as ‘LUCIFER’.
In our opening scripture he is called, ‘THE PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR’.
WHY?
Because he controls this world through the spiritual air currents which are overloaded with wickedness.
They are filled with hatred. They are filled with hatred for God, for the Bible, for Christianity, and Christians. They are filled with lies. Lies about God, His Word, His children.
These spiritual air currents penetrate everything, everywhere, every moment, minute, and hour of the day.

These air currents are filled with infidelity, unfaithfulness, lust, betrayal, fear, doubt, unbelief, jealousy, envy, hatred, and every wicked thought that Satan has ever perpetrated against humanity.
THESE UNGODLY AIR CURRENTS OF WICKEDNESS AND SIN ARE LOADED WITH DARKNESS, SPIRITUAL DARKNESS.

Have you ever given thought to the fact that God didn’t have to save you? He had no obligation to rescue and redeem you or me. We deserved only judgment. We deserved only punishment and hell.
You say, “How so?
God gave us the Ten Commandments, the moral law, and that is what He will judge us by. God is absolutely perfect in every way and holy and He can’t even look at sin without judging it. Though He loves us with an eternal love, he must be absolutely just and judge us exactly the way we have sinned and sentence us accordingly.
That’s why the Apostle Paul said in (Romans 6:23) “For the wages of sin is death”….God pays us our rightful wages for our work, our deeds, which is eternal death in Hell itself.
Have you ever asked yourself these questions? “How many lies have I told? If you’re being honest with yourself you’d probably say a lot. Ask yourself, have I ever stolen anything, even something small, ever? You would probably say, “Yes”. Have you ever lusted after anyone? You’d probably say yes.
Everyone of us is guilty of breaking at least a few of the commandments, and God will judge you and me by these commandments. These violated commandments will give us the death sentence on judgment day.
But God in great mercy provided a way, a sure way, if mankind would only repent, which means ‘turn from his sin’, and turn to the Savior, the only Savior, Jesus Christ the Son of the living God.

NOW IT REALLY GETS EXCITING.
When we got saved we were raised up by God the Father and seated together with Christ in heavenly places, in heavenly realms.
Have you ever even thought about the statement, “…we were raised up by God and seated together with Christ in heavenly places?
What could this possibly mean? And what could the purpose of it possibly be?
Is this symbolic, and if it is, what is it symbolizing?
If this isn’t symbolic than it means exactly what it says. WE ARE ACTUALLY SEATED WITH CHRIST IN HEAVENLY PLACES.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? Have you ever thought it possible for a person to be in ‘TWO PLACES AT THE SAME TIME?’.

Well that’s exactly what it is, and how it is. We were made in the image of God, and that means we are a remarkable creation. We are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Kat Kerr has had many revelations about heaven, about the way God created us. She was shown (vision) how our soul and spirit looks, and how it operates.
She saw our soul like a book with many pages. These pages were actual transparent images of us.
They could be given to many things, good or bad. Through sin they could be spirited away and brought to ‘REGIONS OF CAPTIVITY, or like the Scripture says in Ephesians 2:5-7, that a part of our soul or spirit, a transparent part of us is ‘ACTUALLY SEATED WITH JESUS IN HEAVENLY REALMS’.
I’ve asked the question why, and I believe here’s the answer in part.

It is a seat of highest honor. it is a position of authority high above all principalities and powers (high level fallen angels).
I believe that God has revealed to me (and others), that we are not seated there for nothing, but for kingdom purposes.
We are seated there to do business, and make critical decisions on earth in favor of the kingdom of God, and execute punishments upon the rulers of darkness.
(Psalm 149:1-6) “Let the high praises of God be in our mouths and a two edged sword in our hands. To execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishments upon the people. To bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron (this is binding demon kings, and high level fallen angels).

This is some of the business being transacted with Christ while seated in the heavenly realms, that’s plural (and there are many different heavenly realms).
When we got saved a part of our soul and spirit was seated with Christ in heavenly realms.
Some people whose spiritual eyes are opened, actually see through their own spirit eyes while seated with Christ, and see the situation they are making judgments on.
Understand the spiritual world, ‘Read’, THE SPIRIT REALM
These decisions are made with Christ (he allows us). Then the judgments are made. The situation is resolved and Satan is forbidden to keep up his destruction against a person, a church, a family, or even a nation.
This is exciting. This is wonderful. This is powerful, but there’s just one ‘WARNING’, this only works if we are totally committed to Jesus Christ and His kingdom.
EXCITING BIBLICAL/SPIRITUAL ARTICES
God wants to use you and me, so let’s commit to God to be faithful and true, just like our blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This authority, seated with Christ is absolute and subject only to Jesus Christ Himself, and the leading of the precious Holy Spirit, who knows all things, searching the hearts, and knowing what is the heart and will of God the Father.
As kings and priests unto God, we are handling the business of heaven on earth with our Commander and Chief, the Lord, Jesus, Christ. Nothing is done, or decided by our own human wisdom or desires, but only according to what is the perfect will of God for an individual, family, church, city, or nation.
We also do spiritual warfare from this exalted position. We are not under the circumstances, with them ruling and controlling us, but we, with Christ are above all principality and power, and might and dominion and every name that is named, both in this world and in the world to come.
So, we overcome every time if we will recognize that we are seated right now along side of Christ in the heavenly realms, walking in the Spirit and walking in faith and love. “But thanks be to God which gives us the victory through our Lord, Jesus, Christ” (I Corinthians 15:57).
