So, my friend, just take a deep breath, hold it, now slowly let it out. No, I’m not introducing you to a New Age practice. But you’ve been so uptight, that you’ve not been in any condition to touch God.
You’ve thought He was so far out of your sight that it was impossible to touch Him, and it brought fear, dread and confusion. You’ve felt that God was way, way out there somewhere.
You felt that He was in the farthest expanse of the universe, never to be touched in a real and tangible way.
But I’m going to show you that it’s so, so easy to touch God, and you’ll be amazed and thank me for this great advice.
There was a time when I wondered if I would ever be able to touch God. It’s for that very reason that I now am able to tell you how easy it is to touch God. My struggle, my search, my focus on how to touch God has helped me to be able to help you. Praise God.
FIRST, believe that it’s easy to touch God. This may not be some profound spiritual truth, but an essential truth, a necessary belief.

Haven’t you had something, sometime in your life, where you just thought the task that was before you was impossible, and try as you may, you couldn’t fulfill that task.
It became a challenge too difficult to conquer, all because you believed you couldn’t do it.
But one day it was like a light bulb turned on and you saw it the way it really was, and you saw how easy it was.
You rolled up your sleeves, got busy, and before you knew it the task was fulfilled.
Jesus said, to the distressed father who brought his demon possessed son to Jesus to set free, “Lord, my son since a child would foam at the mouth and gnash his teeth, and this awful spirit would throw him in the fire and water to destroy him.
Will you deliver him?
Jesus told this father something so simple, yet so profound that we often miss it. He said to this man, “IF YOU CAN BELIEVE, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM THAT BELIEVES“.
Can you not see that faith makes difficult and even (seemingly) impossible situations easy. No sweat. No problem. Praise God.
READ: WE ARE NOT IGNORANT OF SATAN’S DEVICES. OR ARE WE?
It’s no secret that even the unbeliever who has faith (though it may only be natural faith), can accomplish great things, even without a knowledge of God.
BUT, OH MY, WHEN OUR FAITH IS CONNECTED TO THE GREAT GOD OF CREATION, THERE’S NO LIMIT TO WHAT WE MAY RECEIVE FROM THE ALMIGHTY. (Matthew 19:26) Jesus said, “With God all things are possible”.
IF THE GOD YOU BELIEVE IN IS AN ANGRY GOD LOOKING FOR ANYTHING HE CAN FIND TO JUDGE YOU FOR, IT WON’T BE EASY TO TOUCH HIM, NOR WOULD YOU WANT TO.
Let me pause for a moment to help you understand something here. God is a God of infinite love. (John 3:16) “For God so ‘LOVED THE WORLD’, that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.
Though God is a God of Love and loves the sinner, He, at the same time, is ‘ANGRY WITH THE SINNER EVERY DAY’ (Ps. 7:11) “God judges the righteous, and is angry with the sinner (wicked) every day”.
You say, “Isn’t that a contradiction of terms? How can God love everybody, saint and sinner, yet be angry with the sinner every day?
Can you not see how a parent loves his children, but can also be angry with a rebellious son or daughter?
God loved the rebellious, God hating world, and yet had mercy and compassion on it’s perishing inhabitants.
He sent His dear, only begotten Son to die for these rebels, and you know what?, we were those rebels.
What love, what infinite love God has for this sinful fallen world.
God has given the whole Christ-rejecting world a chance to change and be saved. He didn’t have to do that.
He could have immediately cast them and us into hell and be done with us all, but He didn’t. You know we all deserved hell, and God would have been totally and ‘COMPLETELY RIGHTEOUS’ in sending us to hell,
but aren’t you glad He didn’t. Aren’t you glad He loved us enough to have ‘MERCY’ on us?
He didn’t take hope away from us, but offered us His great mercy, and grace simply by turning our whole heart to God through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
He wants all of humanity saved. He wants them in His family, because He loves them so much.
This may answer a difficult question for you: IF GOD IS A GOOD GOD WHY DOES HE ALLOW BAD THINGS TO HAPPEN?
But He has given us a choice to either accept Him or reject Him. God will not violate our will. Heaven will be filled only with those who choose Him, and choose to be changed and made righteous through His shed blood and sanctifying Spirit.
But make no mistake about it, all those who reject Christ, have rejected mercy and will gravitate to hell when they die.
SO, JUST KNOWING THAT GOD WENT TO SUCH LENGTHS TO SECURE YOUR SALVATION AND LIFT YOU UP OUT OF THE MIRE AND FILTH OF THIS WORLD, LETS YOU KNOW THAT BY THAT, HE’S MAKING IT EASY FOR YOU TO TOUCH HIM.

BECAUSE OF THE TOOLS, GIFTS, AND GRACES GOD HAS GIVEN YOU, HE HAS MADE IT ‘EASY FOR YOU TO TOUCH HIM’.
What tools, gifts and graces are they?
Oh, don’t you know He had you in mind when He invited you, ‘TO COME BOLDLY TO THE THRONE OF GRACE THAT YOU MIGHT OBTAIN MERCY, AND FIND GRACE TO HELP IN TIME OF NEED”? (Heb 4:16)
YOU SEE, YOUR LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER HAS MADE IT SO EASY FOR YOU TO TOUCH HIM.
God is making it easier for you to believe than for you to doubt. His love has done that for you. His grace has provided it all for you, me and them.
So, if you’ve been doubting, and saying, “I just can’t touch God, it’s a lie. It’s a big fat lie of the devil.
SO, RIGHT NOW, DECLARE, “I AM A CHILD OF GOD, I CAN COME CONFIDENTLY TO THE THRONE OF GRACE ANYTIME.
BECAUSE HE HAS GIVEN ME AN ENTRANCE TO THAT THRONE, IT IS HIS INVITATION FOR ME TO COME TO HIM, THROUGH HIS SHED BLOOD.
HE HAS MADE A WAY THROUGH HIS DEATH AND RESURRECTION, TO TOUCH HIM, AND BE TOUCHED BY HIM. OH, PRAISE OUR WONDERFUL LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST AND OUR LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER. AMEN AND AMEN.
