(I Peter 2:11c) “We are just ‘pilgrims and sojourners passing through (this world)…” As Christians how many of us see ourselves in this way. Do we take this scripture seriously?

Will we ponder it, and study it, and focus on it so we can alter and correct our lives to fit it’s description?
As true believers our lives are not to be conformed to this world’s standards and it’s desires. We are not to be squeezed into it’s mold, but many of us are. (Romans `12:1-2)

Sometimes this happens with the multitude of distractions that presents themselves. Many of them are hurts, and seemingly unsolvable problems, that need to be handled in the present, the here and now. Scripture tells us, “Be transformed by the renewing of your minds”….
HOW DO WE DO THAT?
Our minds are renewed by the Word of God that lives and abides for ever.

They are transformed and changed by the Word that we believe, and act on. Miracles are in our mouths as we quote the living Word of God, which becomes a ‘rhema’ to us.
A ‘rhema’ is a living activated scripture coming right off a specific page of the Bible.

It is the ‘rhema’, that activates faith in us. It is prayer answering faith, it is miracle working faith. FAITH FOR TODAY. FAITH FOR RIGHT NOW.
PRAISE GOD. WALK THE PATH IN FAITH. WALK IT IN PATIENCE. WALK IT IN GREAT EXPECTANCY AND HOPE.
HEAVEN IS AT THE END OF IT. THE PATH OF THE JUST IS AS THE SHINING LIGHT THAT SHINES MORE AND MORE UNTO THE PERFECT DAY. PRAISE THE LORD.
Let’s examine our lives carefully and see if we’re really on the ‘PATH’ or whether we’ve drifted from it.
(Prov 4:18) “But the path of the Just (righteous) is as the shinning light (dawn) that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day (full sunshine).
Because we are in this world, in limited and weak human bodies, we don’t see the ever increasing light that shines on the ‘TRUSTING, OBEDIENT CHILD OF GOD.

What we see and feel in the natural realm, is heartache, trouble, family disputes, financial struggles, and overwhelming challenges.

With our physical eyes we see many failures, disappointments, even ongoing battles with the powers of darkness that seemingly we can’t win.
But my fellow brother, my sister in the Lord, (Let us open our spiritual eyes) that are opened by faith, faith in God, faith in His Word and together we will see the un-seeable, the invisible.
(Hebrews 11:1) “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”.

Together we are stronger than alone, or by ourselves. Together we see the victory, and the enemy pushed back. By faith we are strengthened by our togetherness, our encouragement one to the other

DEAR ‘FELLOW BELIEVER’, let me take your hand, and together we will stand stronger, taller, and with the encouragement that only a fellow believer can supply.
(Deuteronomy 32:30) Tells us that ‘One will chase a thousand and two ten thousand with God’s help.
When I’m about to fall you offer a hand and lift me up. When you’re ready to give up, I shout to you, “YOU CAN MAKE IT”.

When the devil tells me I’m not going to recover, you strongly proclaim, “I’ve been praying for you. God has heard my prayer. Hold on a little longer, brother, your answer is on the way, be patient it will come.
You and me are on the path of life, we must see with the ‘eyes of faith’, with the eyes of our spirit. The way isn’t easy.
We’ll get cuts and bruises from rough terrain, the rocks, the roots, the thorns and thistles. We must never give up, we must never faint (Luke 18:1) “Men ought always to pray and not faint).
Trusting God, by believing His Word is the answer, the only answer, the only hope, but in it is the victory, the power, the strength, and the encouragement we both need.
We all need to make it through this life, and land safely on that everlasting shore, where there’s no more tears, no more sorrow, no more pain, and no more death.
My brother/sister, stand along side that someone that God has put in your path, they need you.
And as you pray and determine to walk the straight and narrow Path until Jesus comes, pray that God will put a genuine Christian along side you that can help hold you up, because when we’re alone, it seems impossible to do.
GOD IS DIRECTING IT ALL. HE LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE. HE’S WORKING RIGHT NOW. BELIEVE HIM AND YOU WILL SEE. THE ANSWER’S ON THE WAY.
