Child of God, ‘doubt’ and ‘unbelief’ is not the same. Some people who are first attempting to believe and have faith in God, ‘WANT TO, BUT ARE AFRAID THEY CAN’T’.

Other people are ‘BACKING AWAY’ from faith in God, ‘BECAUSE THEY DON’T WANT TO BELIEVE’. Where do you stand on these?
These two different types of people both doubted, but there was a difference. They both doubted for the same reason. THEY DID NOT KNOW GOD AS HE REALLY IS.
God loves everyone and has provided a way to Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. He is totally fair and just.

There is only one way to God, and that is through accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior by faith.
Being saved and believing involves total surrender to the God of heaven, and obedience to His Word.
(Acts 4:12) “Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved”.
There are two paths, ‘YET ONE PATH ALONE’ leads to God.
(Matt. 7:13-14) “Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it, because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few that find it.”

When’s the last time you heard this? That the way to life is a difficult way. That the gate is narrow and is difficult to find, and if you find it, it’s not easy to walk on it.
It’s not easy because it only allows that which the Word of God allows, and the road to destruction is broad and allows and tolerates all kinds of sin and sinful pleasures.

Scripture tells us that many are walking that path and falling into the pit of hell at the end of it.
DEAR FRIEND, PLEASE TAKE THIS SCRIPTURE SERIOUSLY, VERY SERIOUSLY, because your eternal destiny depends on your decision and ‘Determination’ to enter and walk the narrow way.

The narrow way takes faith, great determination, obedience and love to God to follow Jesus faithfully on that ‘Narrow path, which leads to life. LIFE ETERNAL.
Doubt is a ‘Divided Heart’. Doubt means in ‘two minds’. It’s wavering. It’s in two camps. It can’t make up it’s mind. But if it can’t make up it’s mind, eventually it will move into ‘UNBELIEF’.
To believe is to be in ‘ONE MIND’. To ‘DISBELIEVE’ is to be in ‘ONE MIND’ in ‘REJECTING GOD’S WORD, AND GOD HIMSELF.

Doubt is not the opposite of faith, nor is it the same as ‘Unbelief’. Doubt is in a state of mind in suspension between faith and unbelief and is neither of them wholly, but shares both faith and unbelief.

But God’s Word says, these folk are unstable in all their ways, and they shouldn’t expect to receive anything from the Lord (James 1:8). They can’t make up their mind to believe or disbelieve.
Unbelief is ‘SETTLED DOUBT’. It no longer is wondering. It has made up it’s mind. IT HAS CHOSEN NOT TO BELIEVE. UNBELIEF IS USUALLY USED OF A ‘WILLFULNESS and REFUSAL TO BELIEVE, or a ‘DELIBERATE DECISION TO DISOBEY.
Let us make up our minds and believe. God is totally trustworthy, loves us unconditionally, and will never turn anyone down who comes to Him sincerely, and specially by faith. Now, let’s get up and go to work in God’s kingdom, AMEN, AND AMEN.
