There’s nothing in all this world and universe of universes that doesn’t operate by law. In the natural world there’s the law of gravity. If you jump off a bridge you’re going to fall into the water below, unless you have a bungi-cord or such to prevent your fall.

It works 100% of the time, and can only be counteracted, but not broken. There’s the law of cause and effect, the bible calls it the ‘law of sowing and reaping’, but whatever a man sows, that will he also reap.

if he sows to his flesh he will of the flesh reap corruption, but if he sows to the Spirit he will reap life everlasting (Gal 6:8).

There’s the law of attraction. You attract to yourself whatever you put out. If you like cooking you will attract those that love to cook. If you love cooking you yourself will be attracted to magazines that feature cooking.

If you love to ride motorcycles you will attract others who also like motorcycles. You will find yourself shopping around for a new motorcycle. If you love God you will seek the Lord with all your heart. You will want to read the Word of God, pray, and talk to others about the God that you love.

WE CAN’T GET AWAY FROM LAW. EVERYTHING OPERATES BY LAW.

How true. Let me insert another article, that adds a different side, not a contrary view, but a more complete view, a different aspect of the law, GOD, DELIVER ME FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW.

But you say, in the spiritual realm we as Christians don’t live by law but by grace. True, yet even grace, in a sense operates by law.

Paul tells us in Rom 8:1-4 “There is therefore no condemnation to them who walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

I recommend the article REDEEMED FROM THE ‘CURSE’.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit“.

For the ‘LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE’ (HERE WE SEE THE MOST POWERFUL LAW OF REDEMPTION), has made me free from (ANOTHER LAW), THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH’.

Let this next article strengthen your faith, THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT

So you see we cannot get away from law. The ‘LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS HAS MADE US FREE FROM THE = LAW OF SIN AND DEATH’. Even grace operates by law. It is ‘THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS.’

Some would say, “We’re saved by grace, and the Law and the Ten Commandments are done away with. It’s true we’re saved by grace, but grace doesn’t give us the right toFREELY SIN‘, but grace gives us the power to ‘BE FREE FROM SIN’.

LET ME BLOW YOUR MIND FURTHER. AS CHRISTIANS WE WILL KEEP THE LAW ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

We either attempt to keep the law and be saved by OUR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, (which is impossible, because no one without Christ can keep a perfect law. If he offends in one point he is guilty of a broken law, and guilty of all and comes under condemnation.

But there’s another way that we can, and MUST keep the law, and that’s ‘BY WALKING IN THE SPIRIT AND NOT IN (OR BY) THE FLESH.

It’s fulfilled, (and must be fulfilled) by completely submitting ourselves by faith to the Spirit of God.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4. “THAT THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW, MIGHT BE FULFILLED IN US, WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT

This Scripture doesn’t say that we shouldn’t have kept the law, but we couldn’t keep a perfect law which was required if we hoped to be saved by it.

BUT HOW?

But the Scripture says that we as Christians must fulfill the righteousness of the law.

BUT HOW?

We couldn’t do it in the flesh, THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE.

THEN HOW?

THROUGH THE SPIRIT.

We are to keep the RIGHTEOUS DEMANDS of the law, or RIGHTEOUS REQUIREMENTS of the law.

You mean to tell me that the law still has demands on the believer? You better believe it.

Doesn’t Scripture say that under grace we’re free from the law?

Yes, that is in order to get saved. BUT THERE ARE RIGHTEOUS DEMANDS OF THE LAW THAT MUST BE FULFILLED AS BELIEVERS.

But these demands are met through the ENABLEMENT of the Spirit.

We’re saved, right? But can we now steal? No, but God by His Spirit takes away the desire to steal, and so we don’t steal.

As believers can we now commit adultery? Of course not, but the Spirit gives us the power, and the desire to live morally correct.

This next article helps us to understand better that SELFISHNESS, IS THE GREAT SLAYER OF ALL GOOD RELATIONSHIPS AND LOVE

Christ is the end of the law in order to get saved, for we’re saved by God’s grace, yet the righteous requirements of the law are fulfilled by the very fact that we don’t want to commit the sins we used to, and so we don’t.

We no longer steal because we don’t want to.

Every time we resist lusting after the flesh, it’s because we love God, and don’t want to lust in our hearts, even though our flesh does.

And every time we forgive and do not hold a grudge, we are enabled by the Holy Spirit and desire to please God more than keep a vengeful spirit.

We are fulfilling the law, yet saved by grace, and not by any works of our own. I HOPE I HAVE MADE SOME SENSE TO YOU. READ IT AGAIN TO UNDERSTAND IT BETTER. GOD BLESS YOU AS YOU WALK WITH JESUS CHRIST IN THE SPIRIT AND NOT IN THE FLESH.
